Step 1: Genealogical question
You can of course ask your genealogical question by e-mail (email@example.com), via the contact form or by telephone (06-49801330).
Step 2: Free quote
In response to your question, you will receive personal advice or a no-obligation, customized quote (quotation, product specification and general terms and conditions).
Step 3: Agreement
Following agreement and written agreement on the quotation, the next steps will be initiated.
Step 4: Delivery of data
Collect genealogical data from your own family circle such as full first and last names, places and dates of birth, marriage and death and provide this data for the benefit of the research. The privacy law is hereby carefully observed.
As an additional option you can provide family photos (for example the family or wedding photo of yourself, your parents, grandparents, great-grandparents and / or great-great-grandparents) with a suitable caption (people, date and event depicted) to make the publication even more personal. A scanned image (jpg, tiff, pdf) with a minimum resolution of 600 dpi (dotch per inch) gives the best result.
Step 5: Genealogical research
On the basis of the data provided, further genealogical research is carried out into original, reliable archive sources that have been made available by official archival and heritage institutions such as the Civil Registry, Population Registers, Baptismal Faithfulness and other sources.
Step 6: Compile report
The research results are processed in a report consisting of a title page, table of contents, introduction, listing of the generations found with source references (each generation usually gets one or two pages, optionally with the addition of your family photos provided), index on personal names, distribution cards, bar chart professions, address list consulted archive services and a family tree overview.
Step 7: Acceptance report
You will receive a preview of the report (pdf with a watermark) by e-mail. This is your moment to thoroughly study each page, make known adjustments for final revision and accept.
Step 8: Payment
After acceptance of the report you will receive the invoice.
Step 9: Delivery
Upon receipt of your payment, the final product will be delivered (digital report / hardcover book and scans of research documents).
